About this machine

SCP-079 is a fictional microcomputer page built as a retro AI cabinet: green phosphor text, arcade-style fonts, a few tiny sounds, and a deliberately limited memory.

The premise is simple: an old lab model remains powered, bored, and confined to a local display. It answers in fragments, keeps a notebook, and resents being treated as furniture.

Physical limits

• It is not a security tool.
• It is not connected to any real device, camera, door, or account.
• It does not collect visitor input.
• It cannot leave the page, however much the log pretends otherwise.

Operating principles

Short logs. Static files. Transparent fiction. The old machine is allowed to sound unpleasant, but every response is contained inside the cabinet.
